Dedication Service

Mike Greenwood, Volunteer Chaplain at HOH lead the group in singing  How Great Thou Art, Redeemed, and Amazing Grace, and delivered a devotional message about how God uses ordinary people who have a checkered past such as Rahab the harlot in the Old Testament. 

Janet Smith, President of the Board of Directors gave a short history about how Haven of Hope was started, introduced the volunteers who had helped with the labor intensive tasks and those who had contributed goods and finances.   

Senator Ronda Storms made some remarks about the importance of having a place for ladies to go when they are released from prison and need support.  

Bill Smith, retired minister, lead the group in the Dedication Service.

Amanda, Melanie and Hope graduated from Beauty from Ashes class in Dec. 2017.
